Slowly whisk in the whole milk until a thick, creamy mixture forms. Place the uncooked wildrice, raw chicken, mirepoix, chicken broth, and poultry seasoning in a crockpot

Add the pepper, dried oregano, bay leaf, and shredded chicken. Place the long grain and wildrice and the seasoning packet into the soup and mix until combined
