Add the chicken back into the pressure cooker along with the orange zest, orange juice, lime juice, chicken broth, whole chipotle pepper(s), adobo sauce, bay leaf, and cilantro
Rub this mixture all over the pork and put it in your slowcooker. Crisp up the carnitas. Add it to the slowcooker and pour the orange juice over the pork as well
After pulling a batch out for dinner from the freezer and letting it thaw, I love to layer the meat chunks (reserving any thawed juice/broth for later) onto a cookie sheet and pop it under the broiler for a few minutes to let some of it get a bit crispy around some of the edges
To make the carnitascrispy, just cook it in a skillet with some of the juices (because you need the fat from the slowcooker to basically fry the meat) until it’s crispy
Place in the slowcooker. Meanwhile, warm the tortillas one at a time over a gas burner, or stack and wrap completely in aluminum foil and warm in the oven while the carnitas is browning
