Ingredients

  • Salt & pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2-3 lb chuck roast
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can low sodium beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1-2 onions quartered
  • 3-4 large carrots cut in thirds
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Optional: Mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles.
