Apologies for only one photograph, but whenever I make this cake it disappears way too quickly, the recipe is based on Phil Vickery's Gluten Free Chocolate fudge cake but made dairyfree and with a vegan frosting

Buttermilk is extremely important in making a cake this moist and rich, but making it dairyfree is a breeze You can either add a little lemon juice or white wine vinegar to dairyfree milk and hey presto – dairyfree ‘buttermilk’
I’m not sure why but I wanted to see if there were some way I could use that in a cakerecipe to add sweetness and moistness while diminishing some oil/butter and sugar
