  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Dough (for 12 siopao)
  • 1/4 ounce
  • 2 teaspoons
  • 1-1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups
