Ingredients

  • 1 Packet active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 Cups warm water
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 4-5 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 Small onion, diced
  • 4 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise for about an hour, until doubled in size.
  • Punch the dough down and turn out on a floured surface. Fold over several times then sape into a smooth ball, then divide into 12 equal pieces.
