  • 1/2 lb silver fish (available in most Chinese grocery stores, usually in frozen section)
  • 1/4 cup ice water
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoon Aluminum Free Baking Powder
  • Canola oil for deep fry

  • 1. Get 1/2 lb, silver fish, usually frozen, use microwave to thaw it, then soak in warm water to let the fish loose, rinse clean, drain.
