This goes very well with Dosa / idli I like to have it with chapathi also. Traditional one is using besan flour but my mum does with roasted gram dhal (which I will post it shortly)
This is an easy and quick gram flour/besan cake recipe. Heat oil in a kadai/pan, splutter mustard seeds, green chillies, add curry leaves, a pinch of hing and saute for few minutes

In a wide bowl, add besan flour, curd, water, turmeric powder, chilli+ginger paste or finely chopped green chilli and ginger, salt, sugar and cooking oil
Serve the green apple chutneywith roti, chapati, paratha, dosa, idli, samosa, sandwich, dhokla etc. This chutney can be relished with roti, paratha, dosa, idli, uttappam, samosa, dhokla and sandwich
ServingServe them withroti/paratha while they are warm. Again, this is a famous side dish/curry of Rajasthan, as you all know chillies are grown in Rajasthan in mass, so you will see all kinds of green chili preparations in the cuisine
