There isn’t a salad worth eating if it doesn’t contain crumbles of cheese and a dressing of some sort, so this chicken salad is topped with crumbles of queso fresco and a creamy dressing of salsa, sour cream and tart lime juice
The tarragon cuts through the creamy sauce with its intense anise-like herbal flavor. Leave out the chicken to make this a (very rich) vegetarian option
Serve the cream gravy over over the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Top it with a homemade cream gravy made from the pan drippings and serve with mashed potatoes
So while coming home from work I dropped by grocer and picked up carrot, mushrooms, chicken breast and a can of creamed corn kernels and made this awesome chowder with very little effort

The garlic cream sauce instead of a typical red sauce just rocked. Sprinkle the spinach on the pizza, then the chicken, the Parmesan and then the shredded cheese
While the chicken is baking, make the cream sauce. We served it with some lemon roasted asparagus (recipe to come) and the extra Parmesan Cream sauce was SO GOOD over some leftover mashed potatoes
I love creamychicken, with mushrooms especially. But typically, most of the cream-of recipes that you’ll find are made with cream of mushroom soups which contain flour (not gluten-free) and not to mention contain a bunch of unhealthy ingredients and a ton of sodium
What could be better than something herby with a wine and cream sauce. All it takes is some humble chicken, some wine and tarragon to make this awesome and gourmet skillet dinner
Combine that with a delicately herb-flavored cream gravy and it’s like winning the jackpot. Comfort food doesn’t get any better than chicken fried steak
