Ingredients

  • 1 st is celebrated as National Doughnuts Day. Aparna, hence chose an apt baking project for our group We Knead to Bake, DOUGHNUTS. Doughnuts are generally deep fried breads that are glazed, filled or coated.
  • 10 mins per batch of doughnuts plus time to rest the dough
  • 2 hrs total time
  • 1 cup (warm at about 115 F)
  • 6 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon sugar
  • Confectionary sugar (sifted) – 1 cup (optional)
  • ½ inch. Using a doughnut cutter or anything else that you have in hand, cut out about
  • 3 inch circles with a
  • 1 inch hole
  • 400 F preheated oven for
  • 10 mins until done and golden brown
  • Cinnamon Sugar
  • Powdered Sugar
