The recipe is adapted from here and here. If the dough rises faster the oil is too hot and gulabjamuns will be become dark on the outside and the inside will not be cooked
But this year for Diwali,I was determined to try gulabjamun with khoya or milk powder. If there are more cracks in the balls,slightly dip one edge of the ball in milk or water and make the balls smooth
