Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb - ground beef, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/2 lb - Italian sausage, cooked & crumbled or (use all ground beef)
  • 1/4 - cup onion, chopped
  • 1 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 - cups uncooked egg noodles (I use No Yolks Dumplings)
  • 1 - jar (24 - 26 oz.) spaghetti or marinara sauce (I use Ragu)
  • 1 1/2- cups of water
  • 1 - 12 oz container low-fat small curd cottage cheese
  • 4 - 0 z. light or 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
