Ingredients

  • Black pepper corns – 1 tsp Ginger – a thick 1″ piece
  • 5-6 cloves, peeled
  • 2 tbsp Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp Curry leaves – a few
  • 1 large, ground to a paste
  • 1 tsp Water – 1 cup Salt – to taste
  • 20 small
  • 1 tsp + a little extra to grease the idiyappam press and steamer plates
