Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup
  • 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tsp chopped crystallized ginger
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup Molasses
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery
  • 2 pinches of
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 3/4 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 3-4 cardamom pods
  • 100 grams Cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp fresh milk
  • 1/4 cup of water, heat until the jaggery melts, take it off the stove, add honey and give it a good stir. If using Molasses, you can add the molasses along with oil and jaggery, and heat together. Since honey shouldn't be heated for a long time, i added it after taking the mixture off the stove.
  • 4 small bundts and a small muffin. Preheat the oven to 180C.
