Ingredients

  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 625 ml milk
  • 5 ml vanilla essence
  • 500 g self raising flour
  • 2 ml bicarbonate of soda
  • 280 g desiccated coconut toasted lightly on a pan on low heat.
  • 300 g white sugar
  • 40 g cocoa powder
  • 190 ml water
  • 7 ml butter or margarine
