  • 1/2 pound (1/4 a kilo) extra lean ground pork
  • ¼ cup oyster sauce
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce (a condiment sold in most grocery stores)
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ medium onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups vegetable oil for frying
  • 2-3 pieces Thai chilis (optional)
