Take a mixing bowl, add roasted thinai maavu along with cashew nuts, powdered jaggery, cardamom powder and hot ghee (heat remaining ghee), mix it well with a spoon and make small balls (lemon sized) while the heat is endurable(tolerable or bearable)
I have posted foxtailmilletdosa before. Grind the urad dhal into nice foaming batter (I have used grinder but you can use mixie or blender, food processor)
Add water to the roasted FoxtailMillet and let the water come to a boil. Millets are very nutritious as they are Gluten Free and have lots of fiber apart from a host of nutritional benefits
So today tried this Thinai Sakkarai Pongal / FoxtailMillet Pongal. I usually do not saffron to my sakarai pongal but this time for extra flavor and color, i added few strands of saffron to my millet pongal
