In a tawa pour some coconut oil and shallow fry marinated fish till crisp on both sides. Fish – 1 kgRed chilli – 20Pepper- 1 tspOnion- 2Garlic- 10Turmeric powder- a pinchRock salt- as requiredMethod. Clean fish and marinate with the paste for 1 hour
Clean the fish. (keep it overnite for better taste ) Take a pan and add sufficient amount of oil and fry the fish until it turns golden brown on both sides
Apply this mixture to the fish pieces on both sides. Coat the marinated fish in the semolina and rice flour mixture and fry in the oil over medium heat
My mom way of making fish fry is shallow frying as it doesnt consume much oil, and she fries it in coconut oil for best taste,but i used the normal vegetable oil to avoid cholesterol
Fish Fry is our favorite. We love any fish fry but mostly prefer Vanjaram because it's easy to eat. Unlike some other varieties of fish, this fish has only a center bone which is easy to remove
