I can't think of a more fun way to start a birthday than with these fluffy buttermilk pancakes, flavored with Funfetticake mix, drizzled with lemon glaze and flecked with sprinkles

I call it this because Greek apple cake is often baked in a sheet dish, with a streusel topping, or the streusel topping is spread in the bottom of the dish and the batter poured over top
I love the sticky soft prunes which create large pockets of moist juicy fruitiness, this cake is naturally gluten free and improves with keeping, I have baked the recipe several times and would recommend that you use a quality cider or fruit juice as your soaking liquor as it really makes a difference to the overall flavour of the cake
We all love pancakesand anything with sprinkles is a win in my book. When it rains it makes me not want to do anything and just curl up on the couch and either take a nap or binge watch Netflix
In continuation with buckwheat flour theme, I present another version of one of my favourite loaf cakes, based on a batter with either fresh apple or apple sauce and cinnamon
