Ingredients

  • 1 cake
  • 2/3 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup blackstrap molasses (regular is fine)
  • 1/4 cup liquid sweetener of choice (I used Agave)
  • 1/3 cup carrot juice
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 2 tbsp ground flax meal
  • 1 cup Bob's Red Mill All Purpose Baking Flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
