Ingredients

  • Serve this dish with naan bread and/or rice.
  • Ingredients (serves 4)
  • 4 large chicken breasts, cut into chunks
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp yellow or brown mustard seeds
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 400 ml can coconut milk
  • salt

  • For the marinade
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 75 ml/2 3/4 fl oz water
  • Preparation method
  • Mix together all the marinade ingredients, so that it is a loose, smooth paste. Add the chicken pieces and coat them in the paste.
