Gourmet Chocolate Bark

  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
  • 11 tablespoon butter
  • 11 cup chopped Brazil nuts
  • 11/2 cup raisinsLine a baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper.
  • Combine the chocolate and butter in the top of a double boiler over simmering (not boiling) water. Cook, stirring constantly, until the chocolate has melted. Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Stir in the nuts and raisins quickly, making sure to coat them in the chocolate completely.
  • Carefully pour the mixture out onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly using a buttered spatula.
  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill until firm.
  • Break the bark into pieces. Store the bark in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
