Ingredients

  • 9 cups flour
  • 2 packages dry yeast
  • ½ cup warm water (110-120
  • degrees)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp. melted lard or
  • cooking oil
  • 2 cups water
  • Bake in 400F oven for 50
  • minutes (my gas oven did require the 50 minutes) or until tops are browned and
  • loaves sound hollow when tapped.
