Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup vegetable or olive oil, your choice
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 small shallot, minced, optional
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 ounce of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of French dijon style mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground, or cracked pepper
  • A couple of squeezes of fresh lemon juice
