Ingredients

  • For the Cake
  • 1 cup Guinness beer
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 Tablespoon dry espresso powder (optional)
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs large, at room temperature
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 and 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • For the Bailey's Drizzle
  • 6 oz Bailey's Regular or Salted Caramel
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  •  
  • For the Frosting
  • 2 sticks butter (1 cup or 16 oz)
  • 3  cups powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp milk or half and half
  • 3 Tbsp Jameson Irish Whiskey (or bourbon)
