  • 5 chicken pieces (I used legs, but you can use whatever you want as long as the pieces aren't big)
  • 1 yellow onion, peeled and diced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced
  • 3 tblsp of good Indian curry powder (like Madras curry)
  • 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 4-5 cups of water
  • 5 potatoes, peeled and cut into thirds
