Season with salt and pepper and serve at once. Arrange mushrooms andham in a 27cm x 17cm (base measurement) ovenproof dish. Sprinkle mushrooms with cheeseand bake for 5 minutes more. Carefully crack eggs onto the hamand bake for 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted andeggs cooked to your liking. 200 g ham (finely sliced or salami, hot if you like bite). 3/4 cup cheddar cheese (tasty coarsely grated). 4 eggs (large)
I always make sure to bring along some Pepto-Bismol for our tailgates just in case we overindulge. Some of our overindulgence came from these Hot HamandCheeseCrescents
1 can crescent roll dough 6 or 8 count5 lg scrambled eggs1 cup shredded cheese6-8 slices of bacon cookedsalt and pepper to taste1. Top with 1/2 cup cheeseand the cooked eggs top eggs with remaining cheese4. fold over the small ends of the crescent rolls to hold all the eggs in5. Slice into wedges 1 can crescent roll dough 6 or 8 count. 5 lg scrambled eggs
And it even had a stick attached, so it actually looked like an eggring. I've been always meaning to buy one of those eggrings, but this was a pretty good substitute
Pour into the dish and top with the tomato slices in an even layer. Layer the bread, ham, 2 cups cheeseand 2 tablespoons chives in the dish. Beat the eggand milk together in a measuring jug. Breakfast is a bit more of an event during the weekend when we can finally relax a little and take some time to enjoy a proper meal, a couple of cups of coffee (or three, who's counting) and catch up before inevitably having to rush off again to the various activities my daughter has planned
