Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup almonds, toasted
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour mix (or all-purpose flour)
  • 1 TB sugar
  • 4 TB blood orange olive oil
  • 3 TB water and ¾ cup water, divided
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 4 ounces dried Black Mission figs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla cashew milk (or heavy cream, if you go dairy)
  • 4 large eggs
