Ingredients

  • 3-4 salmon steaks
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame seed oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 3 shallots, sliced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
  • 4 large Jerusalem artichokes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 10-15 minutes Remove from the heat and set aside.
