I’ve stocked up on flour, butter, and sugar, washed all my aprons, and have more new cookbooks to flip through than I can even deal with (more on that in an upcoming post–there are some newly released gems out there
To make them a little more palatable, I dipped and drizzled them with a tiny bit of bittersweet chocolate and sprinkled them with a pinch of coarse seasalt
With cherries inexpensive in their abundance last month, I felt compelled to bring a bag home, and as delicious as they are on their own, I wanted to try making a brownie with fresh cherries folded into the batter
Once potatoes are in dish, sprinkle with oregano andseasalt. The fresh herbs blended in with garlic, olive oil and red wine vinegar come together perfectly for a sauce that is the perfect accompaniment to any meat, chicken or fish dish
These are super robust and slightly smoky-tasting pita crackers. I did not want to fill the house with smoke so I flipped it over and let the other side get hot too
(For the record, we've already had a few days of triple digits this year - it's crazy considering some of y'all have had snow in *MAY* - what is up with the weird weather anyways
