a small bowl beat your eggs. Add the pineapple juice, sugar, vanilla and melted butter. Put the flour into a large bowl. Stir in your egg mixture until well combined. Sprinkle in the yeast packets, one at a time. Mixing well. Add the remaining 3 cups of flour and mix well. If it becomes to difficult to stir with a wooden spoon, just use your hands! Make sure all of the flour is well incorporated. The dough should be tacky to the touch but not overly sticky. If it appears too wet, sprinkle in a bit of extra flour. Just a tablespoon or so at a time. Cover your bowl with a clean kitchen towel and set it in a warm place to rise for 1 hour. Remove your dough from the bowl and knead in an additional ½ cup of flour. I kneaded mine 10 to 15 times, making sure the flour was well incorporated. Form the dough into rolls,or loaf. Place in buttered pans. Cover and place in warm place to rise for an additional hour,or until the dough doubles in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes,or until golden brown. Brush tops with melted butter, and serve warm.
So skip the gym tomorrow and flour your hands because we’re making these Homemade Dinner Rolls. Cover pan with plastic paper and a tea towel Heat a cup of water in the microwave until it starts boiling Open the microwave door, move the cup of water to the back and place the covered baking pan
You do have to let them rise twice, once after making the dough and once after forming the rolls. The only thing I might do differently would be to brush these with more melted butter right after baking
Patience is the key to all good bread making. At restaurants, to the horror of my parents, they are the rolls of which I would pluck out the doughy center, butter, and then tuck with a piece of steak and eat as a mini sandwich
Having homemade bread throughout the week is well, kind of amazing. During the past month I’ve spent most of my free time on Sundays making sweet rolls, dinner rollsor loaves of bread
If you want to, brush the top of the rolls with a milk and sugar wash to add some sweetness, or an egg wash (egg and water mixture) to get a shiny crust
Don’t let the homemade pizza dough factor stop you from making these. It was definitely the trip of a lifetime and although it sounds cliche, my life was impacted in so many ways and I’m working hard to take what I learned and reorder/prioritize many things
Put them on a baking sheet covered baking paper. Add the milk, melted butter and stir before adding the yeast mixture Stir to combine all the ingredients with a wooden spoon
Add the oil or if you use butter melt it in a pan or microwave. Take a spoon and stir thoroughly to combine all the ingredients and set the mixture aside for about 10-15 minutes. Stop the machine and add ½ cup flour before you run the machine for 4 minutes. Then add the last ½ cup of flour and run your kitchen machine for another 4 minutes. Cover the pan with plastic for 10 minutes or until doubled in size. Preheat your oven to 400℉ and bake the fluffy dinner rollsfor 15 minutes or until the buns are golden brown
