Ingredients

  • 1 lb pasta (you can use macaroni or any other kind you like)
  • 1 1/2 C whole milk, separated
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2-3 C medium or sharp cheddar cheese, grated (I grated my own… not sure if you’ll get the same smooth consistency if you use the pre-grated kind)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
