Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until it melts. The recipe called for coffee frozen yogurt but Ellen couldn't find any and used coffee flavored icecream
Stir peanut butter into hotchocolate until smooth. Spoon half the chocolate mixture over that. Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave until hot, about 2 minutes on high, stopping every 30 seconds. This icecream uses milk chocolate and I added in the chocolate chips, which is an option. The next time when I make this again, I'm going to try with bitter chocolate
Ladle hotchocolate into mugs. Add chocolate, cocoa and remaining sugar. Top with whipped cream. Whip cream, 1 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract in medium bowl to soft peaks. 1/2 cup chilled whipping cream. 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
When the cream mixture just starts to bubble around the edges, slowly stream about a cup of the hotcream into the egg yolk mixture, whisking to temper the eggs
