  • tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • tsp red chili powder
  • tsp turmeric
  • ml yogurt (I used not very thick and not very thin)
  • tbsps ghee or oil
  • ml milk to soak the saffron strands
  • medium sized cauliflower florets
  • large boiled potato cubed (peel the skin and boil till ¾ done)
  • large carrot chopped
  • ½ tbsps mint leaves minced (chopped finely)
  • tbsps Coriander leaves chopped very finely
  • green chilies slit
  • inch cinnamon stick
  • green cardamoms
  • black cardamom
  • big strands of mace
  • star anise
  • cloves
  • bay leaf
  • tsp shahi jeera
  • ½ cups aged basmathi rice (soaked for atleast 30 mins)
  • tsp oil
  • tsp shahi jeera
