afternoon (if you're not a Lebowskiite ignore that.) I'm talking hardcore Christmas cookies. The ones shaped like things, covered with neon bright boiled frosting and studded with stuff that doesn't look like it should be edible, but is.
Here's What You Need
1 cup
of unsalted butter . (I use grass fed pastured butter in my cooking, and especially when making European recipes such as these, I think it helps to get as close to the ingredients that would be used there, here.)
3/4 cup
plus 2 Tbs powdered (confectioners) sugar
1 pinch
of salt.
1
egg
6 Tbs
unsweetened cocoa powder. (once again use the best cocoa you can get your mitts on, trust me it 's worth it.)
2 1/4 cups
of flour
3/4 cup
blanched pistachios
zest of 1 orange Here's What To Do
In a large bowl, or a stand mixer mix together the butter...
it's FREE. I made thesecookies three times before figuring out that as much as I love brown sugar, I had to drastically reduce the amount for the same reason as I needed to use the clear vanilla extract – it negatively impacts the color of thecookies
It's just not my thing. Even so, I'm not positive I'll be making them again, since chocolate-covered styrofoam still isn't really my thing any more than wet, quivering meringue is, but for those of you out there who do like meringue cookies, then you will enjoy these
I've shared this peanut butter cookie recipe before, for those Peanut Butter and Jelly Thumbprint Cookies a couple winters ago, andit'sthe only peanut butter cookie recipe I've used in years
It's cozy inside and now all I want is some hot tea andsome cuddling on the couch with Jamie. It'salsotheseason for parties with friends andget-togethers at work, andthere's nothing like a tray of beautiful cupcakes to bring a smile to someone's face, like theseChocolate Peppermint Swirl Cupcakes
A riff off these butterscotch and peanut butter cookies, this recipe is great for two reasons. The thing is that you should be making these pretty soon because let’s not keep cookies waiting for longer than is considered polite

There are a ton of great made from scratch pudding and pie crust recipes on the internet and in cookbooks so if only eating foods made totally from scratch is your thing, I’d suggest checking out some of those recipes
I somehow got it into my head to make a cookiesand cream cake mostly because I had some Oreos which I originally got to make a cheesecake andthen never got round to
' Sonaturally, we excitedly dove into the dough to taste our spoils. So when I told Ryan a couple nights ago that we'd be making some of his favorite cookies, he jumped right into the kitchen
You won't be sorry. Slide thecookies off the pans andallow to cool completely before removing. I had one cookie that wouldn't fit and baked straight on the pan and I couldn't get it off later
They are so pretty, can you really eat them. I placed each chocolate chip on top of each swirl of Cookie Dough frosting by handsothe cupcakes would look just like chocolate chip cookies ♥ This cupcake is loaded
They aren’t that hard to make but they LOOK so stinkin’ fancy and, above all, are delicious. You will also need extra chocolate chips or melting chocolate to melt and drizzle over cookies at the end
Mixture will be thick and sticky - if it's a little too thick, mix in a few tablespoons milk. For someother recipes to indulge your pumpkin cravings this season, here are a few I posted last fall
