In a small bowl, mix the remaining tomato sauce and ketchup. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the onion and garlic 5 minutes, until onion is tender. In a large bowl, mix the onion and garlic, beef, crumbled bread, crushed crackers, egg, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Gradually stir in the milk 1 teaspoon at a time until mixture ismoist, but not soggy. Transfer the mixture to a 5x9 inch loaf pan. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven 40 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), and continue baking 15 minutes, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Pour over the top ofthe meatloaf, and continue baking 10 minutes
It's okay if there are still streaks of egg white. Serve with lots of butter and syrup. Add the butter to the large bowl and microwave until it is melted
I found thisrecipe printed on the back ofthe packaging of Nestle Toll House’s chocolate morsels. It adds more visual appeal after they come out ofthe oven, and of course makes thecookies extra chocolaty
I made mine with Halloween-theme and cut them out with pumpkin and other cookie cutters – you can just roll them with your hand into a ball and flatten them out so that they’re even easier to make

I’ve been using thisrecipe for several years and I know the neighbor who gave it to me had used it forever but no matter because I think they are perfect for me today
