Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 stick butter, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mixed fruit jam
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder (freshly powdered)
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • Evenly distribute crumbs on top of the cake
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a tester comes out with a few moist crumbs
  • Cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
