Ingredients

  • To make the korokke base
  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and halved (I used a mixture of 5 coliban and 3 désirée potatoes)
  • 2 tbsp milk powder
  • 2 tbsp (+ 1 tsp) oil (I used rice bran oil)
  • 1 large onion, diced (about 0.5 cm each dice)
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and diced (about 0.5 cm each dice)
  • 500 g chicken mince (or any minced meat that you like)
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornflour
  • salt and pepper to season
  • The oil that I used
  •  
  • To coat
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 eggs 2 cup Panko
  • Homemade Tonkatsu Sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
