In a medium saucepan, cover the ricewith the water. Ladle the soup into shallow bowls, garnish with the shredded chicken, sliced scallions, chopped cilantro and the remaining slivered ginger and serve
Add cooked chicken, rice, and gluten-free Tamari or soy sauce to wok then toss well to combine. Add seasoned chicken then stir fry until cooked through and remove to a plate

You can leave the chicken mixed in with the rice or place the chicken on top of the rice. It is commonly used as a rub for lamb, chicken, beef and fish and can be combined with olive oil and lemon juice for a delicious marinade
