Allow cakes to cool fully after baking before frosting and serving. So not only have I been seriously skipping out on the gym recently, but now I’m also eating cake for breakfast
Using a serrated knife carve the cake to a dome shape. Beat the oil/butter well (in a bowl) then add the sugar and eggs mix well using a electric mixer until creamily mixed together
Cocoa WhippedCream (recipe below). Into a mixer bowl fitted with a whisk attachment (or in a large mixing bowl if you're using a hand mixer), sift flour with ground chocolate, cake enhancer, sugar, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt
When I was brainstorming my recipe, I knew I wanted to pair a dense, rich cake with ripe strawberries, all offset by a light, über-creamywhippedcreamfrosting to balance the richness of the cake with an airy lightness to tie it all together
Recipe adapted from. Using the mixer at high speed beat the whipping cream to a stiff peaks. Now gently fold in the nutella using a spatula and slowly mix them thoroughly
For this special party in our new home I am bringing cake, a light as a feather angel food cake flavored with the zest of a mandarin orange, I frosted the cake with an orange scented whippedcreamfrosting and loaded the top of the cake with fresh berries sprinkled with some orange scented sugar
I made mine dairy free, but the recipe works with the same quantities of real butter and milk. Sift together the flour and baking powder (and salt, if using real butter)
Next time, I'll cut the ingredients for the icing in half, secure in the knowledge that half a recipe will provide more than enough frosting for the cake
I wanted a really strong chocolate flavor to the cake so I used their Chocolate Caramel coffee creamer, but I have made the same recipeusing the Vanilla Coffee creamer and it turned out just as amazing
