  • 6 small oven
  • 1 large one
  • 1 cup sugar
  • cup water
  • tbsp lemon juice
  • 250 g/8oz tel kadayıf (pastry strands):
  • available from traditional yufka shops
  • cup melted butter
  • 250 g/8oz unsalted cheese, grated, eg mozarella, ricotta
  • or any melting cheese. I used dil peyniri. You could use lor
  • too.
