Ingredients

  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 4-5 pieces firm fish (king fish, Pomfret, Salmon)
  • 3 cloves garlic or 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 lemon sized tamarind (soaked in warm water for 15 minutes)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 plus 1 tsp coconut oil
  • salt to taste
  • curry leaves
