Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp chili paste (like sriracha or sambal)
  • 2 tbsp of sweet chili paste (gochujang is traditional to Korea, but a Thai style will work. Or, add more honey and whatever chili paste you have)
  • 1/8 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced thin
  • 1 cup chopped scallions
  • 1 1/2 cups brown rice
  • 2 packages of extra firm tofu
  • 1 bunch of asparagus, roughly chopped
  • kimchi
