Ingredients

  • 4 lbs of lamb
  • 2 lbs
  • 8 large shallots
  • peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup of water
  • 10 whole green cardamom pods
  • 6 whole cloves
  • stick of cinnamon
  • 2 brown onions finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
