  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
  • 4 eggs 3 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp. + 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 sticks of unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (or more to taste)
