Ingredients

  • 1.2 lb of beef stew meat, super trimmed
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 2 parsnips, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt & pepper to taste, I used about 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt and a few pinches of pepper
