  • For the Brownie Layer
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) chocolate chips

  • For the Cheesecake Layer
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (two 8-ounce packages), softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 eggs
  • Directions
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
