Combine 3 1/2 cups of water, 1 1/4 of vinegar, 1 Tb sugar, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Bring to a boil, then cool down completely.
While ingredients cool, slice the pickled dill pickles lengthwise.
Add 3 cloves of garlic
Add 2 or 3 heads of fresh dill.
Layer cucumbers into a container
combine red pepper flakes to taste ( optional )
add Mustard seed to taste ( optional )
add Coriander seeds to taste ( optional )
Pour ingredients with the cucumber mixture of added flavors
Store 3 days in refrigerator.
Homemade pickles. If you like pickles too, they are quite easy to make – simple refrigerator pickles can be made to taste (you can make them with all kinds of flavors and spices… whatever you like), and are ready in just a few short days
To a stainless or non-stick pan add the vinegar, mustards, dill seeds and salt and sugar. Once cooled add the fresh dill and cucumbers to 2-20 ounce jars and pour the vinegar over the cucumbers until covered
I had no idea if pickle making would be easy or not since I've never pickled anything, but the grocery store carries little packets of pickling mix, and I thought that was the best place for a beginner like me to start
