Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 servings
  • 1 tablespoon butter, ghee, or coconut oil
  • whole
  • 1 medium white onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger fine sea salt and ground black pepper
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 cups dried figs, halved
  • 12 whole figs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • 5 to 6 hours on low. Garnish with the cilantro and serve.
