Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 6- ounce cans tomato paste
  • 12 ounces water
  • 12 ounce bottle of Chili Sauce
  • 3 cups beef broth or stock
  • 2 Tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (I used “Frank’s”)
